Marion Ty Rutter

Marion Ty Rutter was raised in Clovis, New Mexico, and graduated from Clovis High School. He received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Agricultural Economics from Oklahoma State University in 1983 and a degree of Juris Doctorate from Oklahoma City University in 1987. Mr. Rutter has been affiliated with Aldridge, Actkinson & Rutter, L.L.P. as a summer clerkship in 1986, and then after graduation from law school in 1987 as an Associate and later as a Partner in the firm, managing the firm’s Clovis office. Mr. Rutter is currently serving as City Attorney for the City of Texico, New Mexico, a position he has held since 1991. Mr. Rutter’s practice consists of collections, banking law, business law, civil litigation, minor and adult Guardian ad Litem services, contracts, real estate, agricultural law, probate and domestic relations.  

Jeff Actkinson

Jeff Actkinson was born and raised in Farwell, Texas. He graduated from Farwell High School in 1989, and then attended Texas Tech University and obtained an undergraduate degree in Political Science in 1994. He received his law degree from Texas Tech University in 1997. Mr. Actkinson joined the firm in 1997 and is licensed in Texas and New Mexico. He became a partner of the firm in 2001. Mr. Actkinson has served as Farwell City Attorney since 1998 and Parmer County Attorney since 2008. Mr. Actkinson’s areas of practice include personal injury, contract law, agricultural law, family law, probate, real estate, collections, guardianships, and corporations.

Johnny Wayne Actkinson

Johnny Actkinson received a Bachelor of Business Administration-Accounting from Texas Tech University in 1969. In 1973, he graduated from Texas Tech University School of Law with a Doctor of Jurisprudence. Mr. Actkinson has served as a Senior Partner at Aldridge, Actkinson & Rutter from May 1973 to present. Mr. Actkinson is a former Parmer County Attorney and former District Attorney of the 287th Judicial District. His areas of practice include General Practice of law, handling all forms of litigation, real estate, commercial and banking law.
